Liebe Schützenfamilie,
sehr geehrte Leserinnen und Leser,
am kommenden Wochenende feiert die St. Johannes Schützenbruderschaft Oberense wieder ihr Schützenfest und lädt alle, die die Lust dazu verspüren, mit uns ein paar schöne Stunden oder Tage zu verbringen, ganz herzlich ein.
Wie heißt es so schön, „der richtige Ton macht die Musik“ und dafür sorgen traditionell unsere Freunde des Musikvereines Höingen und des Spielmannszuges aus Hewingsen. Ihr werdet uns sicher auch in diesem Jahr wieder mit guter Laune und Können in Euren Bann ziehen.
Ich persönlich freue mich sehr, dass mein langjähriger Freund – und das schon seit unserer Volbringer Kindheit – Clemens Dahlmann mit seiner Frau Betty unser Königspaar ist. Lieber Clemens, es gibt einen schönen Spruch von Franz von Assisi: „Alte Freunde sind wie alter Wein, er wird immer besser und je älter man wird, desto mehr lernt man, dieses unendliche Gut zu schätzen.“ Und da ist auch der Umzug nach Hamm, wo Du mit Betty Dein Zuhause gefunden hast, kein Hindernis.
Begleitet werdet Ihr Zwei, auch als "Hammer-Königspaar“ bekannt, in diesen Tagen von unseren weiteren „Würdenträger“, angefangen mit unserem Prinzen Thorsten Bittis und dem frisch gekürten Bezirksschülerkönig Justus Kaup, sowie unserem Silberkönigspaar Claudia und Christoph Busemann und zu guter Letzt unserer Goldkönigin Hetty Baukmann, die mit Euch und allen dem Fest entgegenfiebern.
Zur christlichen Tradition gehört auch das Feiern der Gottesdienste am Sonntag und Montagmorgen und so freuen wir uns, dass unser Ehrenpräses Pastor Josef Dohmann unser Schützenhochamt am Sonntag mit seiner freudigen und herzlichen Art und Weise wieder zu einer ganz besonderen Stunde werden lässt. Liebe Jungschützen, als Ihr letztes Jahr geschlossen in einer so großen Anzahl in die Kirche eingezogen seid, war ich mächtig stolz auf Euch. Jetzt wisst Ihr, wie Ihr mir auch dieses und die nächsten Jahre eine große Freude machen könnt. Ich setze auf Euch alle und jeden Einzelnen.
Ebenfalls freue ich mich, an dieser Stelle zu erwähnen, dass wir in diesem Jahr ein wunderbares Jubiläum begehen dürfen. Unsere französischen Freunde aus unserer Partnergemeinde Eleu-dit-Leauwette feiern und besuchen unser Schützenfest in diesem Jahr bereits zum 25 Mal. Wer hätte das vor Jahrzehnten gedacht? Hand auf´s Herz... wohl fast Niemand. Gerade in diesen unruhigen Zeiten, in denen der Populismus und Egoismus leider immer mehr Einzug findet, ist das zumindest ein kleiner Beitrag zur Völkerverständigung und des gegenseitigen Respektes und der Toleranz. Zu diesem besonderen Anlass erwarten wir in Oberense eine große Delegation mit vielen Gemeinderatsmitgliedern aus Eleu, angeführt vom stv. Bürgermeister Christian Heunet und dem Vorsitzenden des Comitees Franco-Allemand Bernard Cotton.
Aber auch unsere „neuen Nachbarn“ sind wieder herzlich eingeladen, mit uns gemeinsam zu feiern. Freuen wir uns also auf ein schönes Schützenfest mit einem internationalen Hauch, gegenseitigem Verständnis und Akzeptanz sowie ein fröhliches Miteinander von Jung und Alt, Groß und Klein.
Es gibt ein Sprichwort von Antoine de Saint-Exupery, dass in Frankreich und Deutschland sehr bekannt ist:
„On voit bien seulement avec du couer. L‘essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.
Man sieht nur mit dem Herzen gut. Das Wesentliche ist für die Augen unsichtbar“.
